From the Editor's Desk

Dear Readers,

Being a Lebanese-American, I understand ink and paper alone will never completely express the deepest emotions and feelings towards our heritage, and for many still…Lebanon.

My mission through this publication is to retain the Lebanese heritage, both socially and culturally. This is an endeavor to preserve and cherish the identity. As a unique group of people, dispersed throughout the globe, Lebanese Heritage is a tool of opportunity for unity, preservation and education for us, our children and generations to come.

After several years of publishing an Arabic/English newspaper catering to over twenty-two different Arabic speaking nations and individuals with Arabic descent, it was my desire to publish a magazine dedicated only to the many individuals of Lebanese descent. This is where, in pursuit of such hopes, Lebanese Heritage magazine came to life.

I believe this is a great opportunity, not only to delve into the rich and exciting legacy of this exotic culture, but also, to share it with others.

Through Lebanese Heritage magazine, we can preserve and maintain what the Lebanese of old have left us…a heritage of which to be proud.
